Marketing Project Manager

Location: Remote / Full-time

Position: Contractor to start, opportunity to become an employee

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience minimum.
  • Experience in eCommerce Direct-to-Customer startups/brands is required.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is a plus.

Role Scope & Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the execution of all marketing projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key marketing KPIs, providing actionable insights and optimizations.
  • Oversee and drive web changes, including content updates, UX/UI site enhancements, and performance optimizations for rainbo.com.
  • Set up and execute A/B tests, analyze results, and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Occasionally support email marketing by scheduling and deploying campaigns in Klaviyo, ensuring proper audience segmentation.
  • Optimize SEO performance and track key metrics to improve discoverability and engagement.
  • Partner with e-commerce vendors to enhance the digital experience, staying ahead of industry trends and recommending new tools or partners.
  • Develop, implement, and test compelling web content for rainbo.com, including educational pages, product listings, and landing pages.
  • Manage, optimize and grow Rainbo's subscription program in partnership with external vendors to improve retention and growth.
  • Plan and coordinate creative photoshoots with the Director of Marketing and CEO to support brand storytelling and campaign initiatives.
  • Liaise with UGC creators to source and deliver high-quality content tailored to the needs of the ads team.
  • Lead select product forecasting (merch) to ensure optimal inventory levels across digital channels.
  • Serve as the key point of coordination between marketing, operations, creative teams, and external partners to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Take ownership of marketing initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and leading execution with confidence.
  • Problem-solve daily challenges and provide solutions that drive marketing success.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce and/or digital marketing.
  • Fluent in navigating the backend of Shopify on a day-to-day basis; you will collaborate with developers to bring larger-lift website projects to life.
  • Experience looking at core paid media channels, like Meta and Google, and the ability to interpret the data/results and suggest optimizations.
  • Experience in project management tools, such as Notion, is required.
  • Proficient understanding of how to track, read and analyze analytics related to marketing initiatives.
  • Strong ability to track and interpret marketing KPIs, using insights to optimize performance.
  • Knowledge of audience segmentation and list management in Klaviyo.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Looker, is a plus.
  • Experience in health, wellness, and/or subscription businesses is a plus.
  • Strong communication and project management skills; ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment and be highly self-motivated.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, collaboration skills and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in a highly dynamic environment.
